critics or journalists?

Everett True Here's what I don't like. 1. People who call themselves music journalists. You're not a fucking journalist, you're a critic. Wise up, losers

What about people who report on news about musicians or the industry instead of writing about sounds produced by artists? Aren't they music journalists?

Yes Alexandra. But on the whole they're not the ones who going around calling themselves music journalists. You know the folk I mean. Anyone who sits at a typewriter and thinks that because they can think of a number between one and 10 and give a star rating they're now a "journalist".

You have a point Everett. And I do know the people you mean. What I want to know is what they think is wrong with being a critic? It is a time-honored and highly skilled profession!
