People don’t like the notion of ‘critic’, a supposedly objective observer who validates art through opinion. Now they have a big stick to wield and beat them with – the Internet.
The problem is one of definition. Elvis Costello or Frank Zappa or someone once likened writing about music to dancing about architecture. My question is, what’s wrong with dancing about architecture?
